It is registered for use in turf at a low use rate of 1.6 L/ha (16 mL per 100 m²) and is available in 1 L and 5 L pack sizes.

Microdochium Patch Trial – NSW

Although early assessments showed little difference between treatments, by 28 days after application, both Sceptre and standard fludioxonil were statistically superior to the untreated control. Sceptre maintained effective disease suppression even as disease levels continued to increase in untreated plots.

 Brown Patch Trial – NSW

• Turf: Bentgrass green
• Conditions: Late summer brown patch pressure
• Comparison: Sceptre 230SC vs standard fludioxonil 125 g/L and Dacogreen WeatherShield

Results showed that at 7, 14, 28 and 42 days after treatment, all fungicide treatments were significantly better than the untreated control. Importantly, Sceptre provided brown patch control equal to the comparison products, despite being applied at a lower rate.

Anthracnose Trial – ACT

• Turf: Bent/Poa greens
• Conditions: Very high anthracnose pressure

While standard fludioxonil showed stronger suppression at 7 days after treatment, results from 21–42 days showed no statistical difference between Sceptre and the standard. Sceptre demonstrated reliable anthracnose suppression under severe disease pressure.
