

Portulaca oleracea
Pigweed, also known as purslane, is a prostrate, succulent weed with reddish stems and small, fleshy leaves. It thrives in dry, compacted soils and spreads through seeds and fragmentation. Hand removal and pre-emergent herbicides are effective in preventing Pigweed infestations.
