Romulea rosea
Onion grass, or Guildford grass, is a perennial weed with thin, wiry leaves and small purple flowers. It spreads through underground corms, making it resistant to mechanical removal. The weed is particularly problematic in compacted and nutrient-poor soils. Control strategies include selective herbicides, aeration, and maintaining proper turf nutrition to prevent its establishment.
Control Options: ADAMA Quali-Pro Negate, ENVU Destiny, Indigo ProForce Duke.
