Potassium and manganese phosphite
DURAPHITE 12 is a unique liquid fertiliser blend which contains both potassium and manganese phosphite and is designed for use on turf, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants throughout the growing season.
While DuraPhite™ 12 has long been recognised as one of highest quality phosphite fertilisers in the industry, it has also been recently featured in the Oregon State University research on alternative methods for controlling Microdochium Patch (Microdochium nivale).
Phosphite products are typically formulated as salts of phosphorus acid with potassium salts being the most common. DuraPhite™ 12 contains both potassium and manganese phosphite salts designed to provide the additional nutritional boost of manganese commonly found deficient or not plant available in many soils.
Benefits
High concentration of phosphite promotes physiological processes that help stress management in turf. It strengthens plant cell walls and improves root structure, enabling the grass to absorb water and nutrients more effectively.
Phosphite stimulates natural defense responses in turfgrass, enabling the grass to fend off environmental stressors more effectively. This can result in better resilience and quicker recovery.
Phosphite fertilisers help in nutrient absorption by enhancing root growth and increasing the turf's ability to access moisture and essential nutrients. This is particularly beneficial during stressful conditions when nutrient uptake can be impaired.
